There is no difference to the installation on other systems, all you need is a webserver like Apache, IIS,.. with PHP installed (version 4 or 5).
1. Download MySQL-Admin
2. Unpack it.
3. Copy all files to the document directory of your webserver ("htdocs","wwwroot")
4. Open your browser and enter the directory on the webserver for Example "http://localhost/mysql-admin/"
5. Press the "Install MySQL-Admin" button
6. Fill in all the asked information and press "Install" - be sure, that php has the privileges to write the PASS.php file
If there are any Problems please write back.

I'm running the latest version 3.3.0 under MacOSX, but it is failing with:
Connection to server failed.
Connection to server failed
And no other info. I can log in with the same user, pw and server from the command-line.
I'm running versions:
MySQL - 4.1.13a
PHP - 4.4.4
I couldn't find doco to see what the requirements of MySQL-Admin are. Could you let me know if these versions are ok or suggest any other problems I may have.
Thankyou,
Brooke

Normally mysql-admin should work on php4 mysql4 without any problems.
The connection error "Connection to server failed." occurs if mysql-admin is not able to connect to the mysql server, this may be because of a wrong password, username or server.
Did you get this message while installing it, or at the normal login.

PS: Currently I'm working on v3.4 and managed it to get a better error message if the connection fails.

Thanks for the reply. I just received this after my mail server somehow sent me every email it has ever seen for the last 6 months, desite them being deleted after they are downloaded. Weird. Anyway, your mail turned up and for some reason I didn't see it the first time. Mmmm, perhaps I never saw them in the first place. You don't care about this ...
The problem, from memory, occurred at login after it was installed. I don't belive it is a user / pw problem as I could log in from the command-line.
I will try version 3.4 and see if that helps.
Cheers,
Brooke
