I'm very happy to be involved...and to be assigned a task so early!!!

To answer the question, I don't think JBoss will support CMP2 until 
version 3, but 2.4.4 certainly supports CMP1.  Version 3 of JBoss is 
still only in alpha stage.

What database are you using for development?
