I cannot set my sidebar to 100% height

if I set the table to HEIGHT="100%", when I have a
long page the sidebar stops at about a height of 500
pixels or so.

I've tried everything to change this in my code, so I
think the problem might be in some of the tables built
into myphppagetool.
