I have changed the chat room so the chat area has now got a Dark Blue background, but when users initailly log on they are by default given black text.
I searched in several CSS file but i can't find where i have to set the color value.

Currently the only way to change this is in the database. Later on when you install it you will be able to change all the colors, as well as via the admin panel.
