This release features a huge list of feature enhancements and fixes. All the users of MyObjects are encouraged to install this new release.
This is hopefully the final release candidate before the 1.0 release. Please notify the developers about the remaining bugs.
myobjects.org is being moved to another server for some problems and is down for a while.
This release should be stable enough for production. The api will not be changed from this point.
Changes
* normalizedGet() method that generates cross table sql queries for retreiving the foreign objects and the requested object in a single query was redesigned. It now supports multiple foreign keys pointing to a single table.
* Class property names that are holding foreign object instances can now be overridden in the web gui.
* Some little bugs were fixed and the urls pointing to old web site were changed to www.myobjects.org
MyObjects now has it's own domain name http://www.myobjects.org. Please update your bookmarks.
MyObjects finished Zend's Php 5 Contest in 7th place. Using short open tags made MyObjects lose points in the competition. After the announcement of the winners MyObjects was downloaded by about 2000+ users.
Some enhancements in object state validation were made. Especially the isValid method of generated classes were rewritten in a more efficient way, with adding a new parameter for extensive validation.
The Smarty templating engine was removed, because of the fact that Php itself is a templating engine and MyObjects did not need the functionality of Smarty. Now the web client should be faster.

The DatabaseConnection class name was mistyped that caused the system not to work. Sory for this problem. If you downloaded beta 2, you are encouraged to download this release.
The web client was storing the storefunction value in the place of validation function value in the database schema file. This bug was fixed.... read more
