#2 Cannot log on as admin, as in config.php

I installed the program, created the tables, edited
config.php, and so forth.

Changed my admin info in config.php to ******* and
*******, but when I attempt to log on as the admin (ie - to
choose newsgroups, etc) I am given an error stating that
I must login as the administrator.

Actually, to clarify, I can login as a user with the admin
name/PW, but when I point to <...>admin.php, I get that
error message.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
