#10 Is this list tended?

I feel silly posting here, but I am getting nowhere on
the MyNapster forum list http://forum.mynapster.com

I have A Compaq with a starband satellite connection.
MyNapster crashes that connection.... so ....

I downloaded MyNapster to my network-attached Aptiva.
However,

When I went to Edit-preferences-local to tell it I am
part of a LAN connected to a network but that group of
choices is not a usable option. Likewise, neither is
Program Mode. The are greyed out.

I can't tell MyNapster it's part of a LAN.

So even though I could connect and search on the
Comapq, I can't do anything on the Aptiva.

The IPs load, and each says connecting, then they
apparently give up and retreat back leaving me with an
empty cache.
