When the program runs for the first time, it copies and on startup the program (svhost.exe) does not open a currently made log file or create a new one if needed. However when run manually it does open/create the log file.

How are you launching the program?
I don't completely understand the problem.

On Windows startup. When it runs on startup, it doesn't create the log file. When you manually run it it creates a log file.
