On IIS 5 when I go to the root of myhelpdesk (ie:
http://swoogan/myhelpdesk/ ) loads the login code
which doesn't have an "action" attribute for the form.
When I enter my username/password, the login page
just reloads without doing anything.

However, if I use http://swoogan/myhelpdesk/login.php
everything works fine.

What I was able to do, to fix this on my local copy, was
alter the form tag to include an action attribute set to
PHP_SELF.

ie: <form method=post action="' . $_SERVER
['PHP_SELF'] . '">

On or around line 90 in login.php

    Logged In: YES
    user_id=137011

    this may be related to the fact that with IIS one cannot call
    header() after setting the cookies. from what I read that is a
    bug with IIS. I have a line commented out in login.php that
    works for IIS.
