Hello Robert,
Well done for this remarkable work.
I realized the focuser is amazed.
However, I have a question: Is it possible to increase the movement speed when using the push buttons?
If so, which line of code should we modify?
I thank you in advance for your help and excuse me for my English if it is not very good because I am French.
Regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
I have extended the firmware for more advanced local control of the focuser. You can change the size of the focuser movement depending on how long you push the buttons. (Not really speed, however. But in principle that would be posssible too.) And you can configure the step sizes in the source code, too. I have also added full local control using buttons, but you need to connect two additinal push buttons (and an OLED).
The extended source of the firmware is available from https://github.com/wanthalf/wFocuser
Best regards,
Pavel

Hello Pavel,
It's good news.
I had already modified the source code for use of push buttons but no
adjustment possible without modifying again.
I will therefore test this new Firmware.
Cordially,
Patrick

Short and long answer is no. Manual is clear that push buttons are not a good option and explains why. The focuser is really designed for remote use.
An IR controller is a better option than push buttons.
Hello Robert,
Thank you for your quick, short but very clear response.
