Build fails when TEMPERATUREPROBE not defined and OLEDGRAPHICS defined.
Line 1271 in myFP2ESP.ino calls readtemp when TEMPERATUREPROBE not defined.

Yes, I know why. I actually do not use OLEDGRAPHICS. That code is maintained by another. So it is not on my test plan. I have loaded a fix and will upload a replacement for v104 now, today.

I am not sure whether I will use OLEDGRAPHICS either, no dea at this point what text or graphics looks like, but looking forward to get it running with the IR remote, which is my main reason for upgrading from the earlier esp 8266 version.

In other future releases here on sourceforge only oledtext is an option

There is also a section in 15 Controller Features that checks for LCDDISPLAY and OLEDDISPLAY and neitherof these appear to have definitions, perhaps leftover from previous versions. Dont know if this is an issue.

I am struggling a bit. Switched to OLED TEXT am getting as far as "setup end" and thats it. Not sure what it should do next. I can access via the webserver but does not seem to do anything and also installed windows app on a different pc on the same network and cant get it to connect. Any pointers?

Contact me direct at email n firmware.

    1. Make sure you set the target board type in myboards.h
    2. make sure you set the correct target cpu in Arduino IDE

You will need to include everything you have enabled (I must know what options you have enabled), it is best to watch the videos on you tube also.

I can access via the webserver but does not seem to do anything

In webserver mode you can access the webserver. So if you do a move, after the screen refereshes (wait for this to happen after clicking a move) you should see new position. Again there is a video on youtube for the web server.
You can try entering a new position and then set.
Again wait for the screen to refresh (may take 10-30s) and not if its been updated.

In your email best to send me the zip of your modified firmware to look at and review/

ESP32DRV8825 used with the software for windows. If I click on the option to set the reverse rotation of the motor nothing happens. The direction of rotation does not change ... Why?

      start the app.
      enable logging
      connect
      move the motor 100 steps
      change the reverse direction
      move the motor 100 steps
      send me the log file

      what firmware are you using
what app version are you using

If you click -100 and then +100 the motor moves in opposite steps right?
