Found, in the PDF doc! So it is needed only with the Home Switch:
"To help isolate the HPSW wires from induced noise, a small ceramic capacitor C5 (ceramic 100nF) is highly recommended as well as a small ferrite coil on the wires close to the switch as shown below."
Now looking for the HER208 ;-)

Hi Robert,
First of all thanks for all the work! A very nice - and vast - project.
I have the PCB for the ESP32-DRV8825 but cannot find the reference to C5 in the corresponding parts list. Is it a ceramic condenser?
Also, the parts list mentions an HER208 diode which is missing from the PCB and schematic ...
Thanks!

The her208 is a 2a general purpose diode, so any around 2A rating should do
If you cant find one, you can just put in a 2P header and then short the header out.

Hi Robert,
I bought the HER208 but couldn't find it mentioned neither in the schematic nor in the PCB layout.
Luca
Its not there - I got confused between the parts for myFP2 and myFP2ESP boards.
Depending on the board and driver chip versions, it might be there and it might not
I see from the esp32-DRV8825 it does not use the HER208 that is in some other boards.
Sorry about the confusion. I have not had a chance to update a lot of things.
Hi Robert - no issue at all! I understand that the schematic is the single source of truth.
Thanks again!
