i am currently building the wemos solderless solution but have ran into a problem powering the drv8825 expansion board. i have it wired as shown in the documentation but no power seems to be reaching the board from vin, either through usb or 12v. the d1 r32 board is getting power and can connect to software etc but no power to driver or motor. also tried with the extra ground on the driver board, tried other drivers and boards but no power. any help is appreciated
The 5V needed to run the drv8825 I first wired from the main board to the DS18B20 temperature board. From there 5V was then wired to the DRV8825. Because there was bigger connections on the temp board, this solved trying to connect several wires into the connection on the ESp32 board which really only takes a single pin wire.
Regards
Robert

sorted it adding the 5v output to the driver
Hi Setphen.
Take care: You connect EN driver to Vmotor = Vin
If you power le Wemos board or the Motor driver board with 12V you will
burn your driver.
Its better to connect it to the 5V out pin on the Wemos.
Best regards
Eric
