I just post a tip concerning how to compile Apache 1.3.15 or higher with php / mysql support.

Indeed, there is a little bug in he Apache Makefile which doesn't know that the libmysqlclient will be zipped.

This is how to do :<br>
<br>
configure and compile php as you want.<br>
configure apache<br>
edit the apache-1.3.xx/src/Makefile<br>
and add a te end of the line that begins with LIBS1 : -lz<br>
Then you can run make and make install.<br>
