The final version for the legacy series 0.2.1 is under its long development way. I have moved it now into my own SVN server. Maybe this sf.net project will be killed due to mxchange.org is the new home. :)

The 0.2.1 and all past versions are now legacy. 0.3.0 will be a full rewrite from scratch, PHP4 support is discontinued and the code will be written in OOP! So you need latest PHP5 engine for this project.... read more

The latest version contains tons of improvements and bugfixes. I have significantly (!) reduced SQL queries and uneccessary function calls (like str_replace() was called +7,000 times, now "only" +4,000 times on same page.

A new testing package has been released. This release contains the current version 0.2.0-pre10 of MXChange-Script including all patches until patch number 492 including itself. You can download it here:

A total sum of 70 patches were needed to make this first stable release possible! This release is ready-to-install - as we hope... Download it, extract all and upload! Well, do some RFTM before contacting us...

This release is a mass-fixes release (which some of you may apply to) and it's completely speeded-up! Enjoy several extension improvements and a more-stable version ever!

Lot's of major bugfixes and enhancements like active rallye TOP10 lists and many improved extensions.

Some days after the planed release day I have finally uploaded pre6. It's more stable and lot's of improvements e.g. setting the home-page which is the default page when you call modules.php?module=index or verbose output for SQL commands while registering / upgrading / removing extensions from your script installation. So this is another pre-round...

This release contains all improvements from the deprecated PRO versions. Now MXChange is a completely *free* project (free as freedom not money). Please update to this version, I have changed the URL for update checking and "search for new extensions"

In this new version I have fixed the installation system (SQL errors removed) and I have included my banner rotation added which I accept as an indirect payment to me.

Pro-Versions (not uploaded to sf.net) and order link removed. I will re-add it soon!

New version v0.1.0-pre27 of MXChange Mail-Exchange released! This yet-another-pre-release contains several minor and major fixes / changes! Please read the release notes for further details:

Since May, 1st 2004 pre26 is released but I'm still offline for some weeks and can only upload and submit news from work. I have also started a non-free version which is - of course - not downloadable from here or my server. You can order it by mail for EUR 19.90 (BASIC edition) and you can pay overy my PayPal-Account: roland (at) autoinstaller (dot) de. Orders can be done in german and english language.

This release contains 15 (!) smaller to bigger patches (upt to 260kByte patched and enhanced code). The task management does now work a bit more: edit tasks is finished. Also an extension management is included within this release. Extensions can be a forum or a newsletter (seee link tasks for details).

This version of MXChange mail-engine does contain a new improved template system. It's now easier to include PHP constants - e.g. language constants - into templates. This version does also add SQL index to several table columns and it will "quot" dangerous chars like $,(, ) and so on.

My project's page got a new look. We hope you will enjoy it as we are doing. This design will also become part of our next release pre22! And the task management will be nearly done.

I have now fixed several bugs in installation procedure: email address, URL in FORM tag, slogan, metadata.php and stylesheet.php. This release contains a simple-to-use support system for your members. A full-featured task management will follow within next releases.

We are about to finalize the MXChange project to the first stable version ever! This pre-release contains manny new features which you can see in the change-logs. This version does now support multiple database system (not just only MySQL) and I have to move the some very last MySQL commands into own functions for now.
