#6 Rework logging

As suggested by Paul Hammant, take in consideration
to use Apache's commons-logging for logging.

Please make the whole logging pluggable in some way. I'm
trying to use MX4J within OSGi (http://www.osgi.org/ for more
information) and this framework has its own logging service (I
suspect most frameworks do in one way or the other).

We have now an MX4J logger that delegates to commons-logging.
About more pluggability, mx4j logging system is pluggable as
long as you have a log4j/java.util.logging/commons style of
logging, which is the vast majority of logging frameworks
    I've seen around.
See for example Log4JLogger on how to plugin Log4J, or
    JCLLogger for Commons-Logging.
If that is not enough, feel free to post to mx4j-dev
specifying what you need exactly. Thanks.
