This page is tips & tricks for MX Respin GNOME.

Known bugs:

• Brightness Systray icon does NOT start up.
  Workaround --> MX Brightness Systray is a utility especially for Xfce desktop. Therefore, use Power Manager (already installed as powermgmt-base) instead. Click on the Power Manager icon on the upper right corner, then setting slider will appear during a gnome shell session.
  You can also install gnome-power-manager, which is the native power management utility on GNOME Desktop environment.

• Reboot and shutdown from gnome panel dose not seems to work
  This bug is reported by an user, but it does not seem to happen every time.
  Workaround --> Shutdown or reboot from terminal.
