#148 statement regarding svg overlay

the comment "Image with SVG overlays can not (yet) be displayed in Internet Explorer. Try etc." is appearing on images even if the image does not contain an image. the message should only appear if a svg is actually present (looks funny in projects where people do not have svg overlays on images)
