MWEdit / News: Recent posts

A major release of MWEdit is now available with a significant number of bug fixes and improvements as requested by the modding community.

Added the initial release of the NifTo3ds project which is used to convert the Morrowind NIF files to standard 3DS files. This version has limited capabilities and will not be very useful to most people at this time.

Added the binary and source files for the latest NifTexture release since people occasionally ask for the source. Note that NifTexture source is not included in MwEdit's CVS repository.

Released an update which contains a bunch of bug fixes and new features. Of note is the ability to export/import items from CSV files. See the release notes and change log for more information.

The first beta release of the editor, v0.5, is available for download (source will soon be available as well). Feel free to submit bug and feature requests.

Just getting things together here on SourceForge and am preparing for the first 'beta' release shortly.
