It's comin' up! Cry, puny humans!

What's coming up? Modular Virtual Engine is coming up! The modular emulator with flexibility driven to the outmost!

The first official release, which is versioned as 0.2, features an SQLIte database and furthermore a fully emulated Space Invaders Arcade Machine. This version serves as an example with lots of documentation; its goal is to educate everybody willing to write a so-called "unit", a complete system consisting of several modules for CPU, Video handling, for the MVE.

With the API that MVE is providing, it's easy for everyone with some hardware specifications & documentations to implement an accurate emulation of any 8-16 bit machine, even though it's currently fixated on 8-bit engines because I didn't yet have the time properly try out any 16-bit unit.

The release-date is set to the 18th/19th of May, so stay tuned and have a look at the code in the repository from time to time if you can't wait for your erm.. belated ... mother's day present. You see, I didn't forge you people!

So long,
Michael
