Hey guys... =20 Just a quick note to let you know that I've submitted a support request to the sourceforge.net people in order to get CVS issues sorted out. The issue is that (for some reason) we are unable to commit, add, or release (delete) files from CVS. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly. I'll keep you informed. =20 Now, on to other stuff. =20 Nikhil is looking at stripping Jasper (the apache jsp parser/engine) out of tomcat. I think it's developed as a separate project, so this should be fairly easy. =20 =20 Rodrigo, how are you doing studying the package? Do you feel that you have a general sense of what's going on? If so, can you inform us whether or not you're using eclipse as your development platform? If not, please download eclipse version 3.0 Milestone 7 from http://www.eclipse.org <http://www.eclipse.org/> . This is the version of eclipse I'm using, and it's the latest version. On a related note, it would be ideal if we came up with a strategy for our development environments. I normally favor everyone developing on (as close to) the same environment as possible. What are your thoughts? Should we standardize on a complimentary software package? I have been using MySql and various versions of Tomcat on both Linux and WinXP. =20 =20 Are we all in agreement about using mvc4h as the underlying engine for a portlet implementation? If so, please download and review the examples, API, and specifications for the javax.portlet package. These can all be found at or through: =20 http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/portalserver/reference/techart/jsr168 /index.html =20 Nikhil had suggested doing an example project (in my opinion ideally distributed as a .war file). Perhaps you guys have ideas about this? Let's get the discussion rolling! =20 Thanks fellas! =20 Joe =20 Cisco Systems' "B2B Supplier of the Year" "This email may contain material that is confidential and provided for the sole use of the intended recipient.
