I answered his personal message before seeing this one to the list.
After getting more info from him, his problem is that he gets mutt
when he tries to browse news.  The ERRATA file mentions this as known
behavior with older versions of the browser (A bug in Communicator?!?!
Nah...), roughly 4.6 and earlier.  He is using 4.72, which I thought
was a working version, but since there are some really huge security
problems with < 4.75, I recommended an upgrade anyway.
