ZOOM.ZDT begins with the following ANSI string:

Audio file numbering always begins with 000 for MONO and STE(reo) files, no matter if the first mono-channel is no. 5 on the device and 1-4 are two stereo channels. Unfortunately this opens the door to ambiguities if recording channels are switched between two takes. Thus MuTrack should support prelistening for supported file formats and possibly visually mark places where channel mapping errors might occur.
