PLEASE consider resumable downloads. One of the biggest
frustrations using mute is to get 85% of an 18mb file
that transfered at 6 KB/sec and then have it fail! I
happens quite often and it would seem to be not that
difficult to implement.
just leave all failed files in Mute_incoming and then
loop through them whenever the download button is
clicked, and if one of the filenames equals the name of
the file that is selected in the search list and if it
is there then start the download at the file size that
is in Mute_incoming.

a couple of small things:

Please put the build version in the caption, or at
least in a label on the settings tab. I would help if
users could easily see what version they are using. I
do not know how many people know it is in one of the
many .ini files

I would appreciate a label on the search tab that has
the total files in the search.

I would also appreciate being able to copy a file name
from the search list, a right click menu or just allow
ctrl-C in the first column.

Thanks, Tony

I completely agree. It's *very* frustrating to have a file
take forever to download, get 80% of the way through, and
then have it marked "Failed" for whatever reason... and have
    to start all over again.

I concur with Tony's suggestion: Please add a "resume
download" feature as soon as possible. The MUTE network is
slow enough that not having a resume download feature
basically makes it not worth using IMO. Of course, I tried
to download the same file four times last night, only to
have it fail each time, so I may be a bit biased. I'm
tenacious, but I think that the combination of slow
downloads and inability to resume failed downloads will be
enough to prevent a lot of people who would otherwise use
    MUTE from doing so.

My one amendment to Tony's suggestion is that instead of "if
one of the filenames equals the name of the file that is
selected in the search list" I'd say base it on the hashes,
    not the filenames.

On a related note, it would be most excellent if there were
a context menu that would pop up for right clicks on file
names in the search result box. Some options I would expect
    to be there:

    Download file
    Copy to clipboard
    File name
    Hash

The ability to easily copy hashes to the clipboard is
important because, while the ability to search for hash is
great, it's currently pretty painful to get the hash from
the search results into the search box. You end up sitting
there typing character by character and constantly
double-checking that you didn't mess up; ick.

check the MUTE email list / forum...

there are a couple new versions out that handle this type of
stuff.. not sure if you run under Windows or not, but if you
do, there is a new version that is windows only out...
