MUTE seems like the perfect solution for file-sharing in the future, but it does not (appear to) support IPv6.
IPv6 offers several advantages for a P2P network, since hosts can always be access directly (no NAT). All modern operating systems include IPv6 support, so it might offer an automatic solution for many users' NAT related problems.
