This is the precursor to the project's first huge milestone release, 0.93. 0.92.5 should be the final release of the 0.92 series, ironing out most of the really annoying bugs. Please redirect all bugs and discussion to our main website, http://www.musikcube.com
This release introduces removable device support (flash cards, thumb drives, portable mp3 players). Plug your removable device in (usb/firewire) and musikCube should auto detect it and scan it for music. CD ripping has been enhanced and should be more stable than ever. The interface now also sports clean icons from the Gartoon Gnome icon set.
Project musik has been slowly working towards 1.0 release for over 2 years, and we're almost there.
musikCube 0.91 brings (fairly untested, but working) unicode support, 0 configuration evil lyrics support, cd ripping and playback, interface enhancements, enhanced realtime filtering, and much more.
The first "public" beta of musikCube has been released:
musikCube is an open source mp3 and ogg library management and playback system. It is available to anyone running a Windows 2000 or XP and is designed to help even the most disorganized computer user take control of their music. It does not and support skins -- the goal of Cube is to be completely cohesive within your operating environment.
