The latest complimentary releases are now available, including a MacOS X
I've converted to use 4K46 MacOS X distribution. This will cause interim
pain for public beta users, but a smoother upgrade for the first
release. I should get 4K78 tomorrow and hope to have a fully working
version with USB MIDI Real Soon Now.
Things that work are:
Reorganized Documentation to be easier to navigate, different from its
intended distribution form.
Added Hans-Christoph Steiners much valued conversion of the
Added CoreAudio support in MKPerformSndMIDI for use with SndKit V2.0.0.
SndKit itself is now platform independent, all the evil is in
Added packaging of applications and examples.
Enabled individual timing of MIDI bytes within a message (for slowing
Improved timing of MKSamplerInstrument and added support in ScorePlayer.
ScorePlayer is now a much happier camper, and can function as a MIDI
Spectro now uses NSBezierPaths and is therefore crossplatform, not
depending on CoreGraphics etc.
Things that are broken are:
Playing segments of sounds in SndKit. Trivial to do, but wanted to get
the code out first.
Several sound formats are yet to be managed, i.e 8 bit.
No sample rate conversion is done at the moment.
Both of the above just require modifying SndConvertSndInternal() for use
The build process is still manual.
RTFD's still exist preventing the repository being on sourceforge.
The Nasdaq keeps falling.
My work days aren't getting shorter.
People keep dying in Palestine.
All the same, Enjoy! Make good music.
