Musichearts is meant as an alternative to conventional music trading. Nowadays nearly every band or musician have the capabilities to record audio in a way which probably is of the same quality as high-end-professional recordings from the early 90's.
Musichearts aims to be a easy, free alternative, empowering musicians, to sell there music independendly on their own homepage.
They may also be found in a central search registry, which links to their homepage and musichearts webshop, but of course they do not have to.
Musichearts is free, open source and licensed under the BSD license, and may therefor be freely used in every way.
The project is just starting. SVN developer repository already contains an architecture diagram of the upcoming solution.
Musichearts beliefs in the beauty and spirit of music, an wants to bring music back to the hearts of the people. (Therefore the name ;))
