This is the german translation for Mumble. It contains
some source changes to translate even more strings and
add translation-awareness by reading out the
translations according to the locale.

The translations aren't by far perfect but a good
starting point for further improvements. One thing I
noticed, are technical terms that most users won't
understand nor help them using this program. My advice
would be, to keep it a bit more simple.

Contains Diffs for ConnectDialog.cpp, main.cpp, mumble.pro, VersionCheck.cpp and the german translation file

First of all; Thank you :)

Applied to SVN... All except the patch for VersionCheck.
qWarnings are sent to the console, and hence shouldn't be
translated. If they are, I'd have to way to understand the
console logs users send for debugging :)

Would it be OK if I modified your translation so it added
your name and SF.net email to the translation of the About
    dialog?

    Two more things:

If you do allow me to add that thing to the about dialog,
what is "German translation by name <email>" in German? :)

Second, translating my name..? My name is Thorvald, not
    Thorwald ;)

As for the technical terms, I do agree. Abstracting a bit
of the technical details and possibilities so users can
relate more easily is on my to-do list, but it's pretty far
down :( A good example is actually the ACL system; While
    very powerfull, nobody understands it.

It is "Deutsche Übersetzung von Name <email>".

Regarding your name: I'm really sorry, but it sounds the
    same in german ;)

BTW, could you tell me all dependencies so I can build
mumble myself? I find it quite different seeing those
translations in Qt linguist and in the final program. That
way I can make better adjustments.

Last but not least: I really like your program. I'm a gamer
myself and use Teamspeak exclusively. However a good and
free alternative solution is something I was looking long for.

Welcome m0ta to the mumble team :) With direct SVN access, we no longer need this as a "patch" :)
