This was briefly discussed awhile back in another tracker (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1882386&group_id=147372&atid=768008) and after putting some thought into it today I decided to give it its own tracker.
Since I've noticed that it can be hard to find linked channels, especially when you aren't in the link, there should be some way to see (and remove if given permission) links without being in them.
My idea is to have a context menu item, for example "View Channel Links", which opens a window to list or diagram the links.
I don't know how useful it would be, but I was thinking of having two modes of view, one to view only the channels that the selected channel is linked with and another to show all links on the server.
When multiple channels are linked, currently there is no way to see where a single link is without unlinking it, and there is no way to remove a link without being directly connected to that link, so there should be some way to show where each link is.
For a start, it could be a list of individual links as seen in the Murmur database, with channel numbers replaced with the channel names of course, which I think would work quite well and I expect would be the easiest to code.
In later versions it could be changed into some kind of a diagram so it will be quicker to see the whole picture of what links with what.
