I was surprised this feature is missing, but when using a headset, I wish I could hear myself speaking through the headset speakers.
Oddly enough, when going through the initial configuration settings (during the install process), I can hear my own voice in the headset. As soon as I get into the actual program itself, however, that feature is missing.
It is a vital feature to a service like Mumble, as many people are using this service for gaming, and use a gaming headset while using it.
The software has the ability to do it (as evidenced by the fact that it is present during that initial settings tour), so it would be wonderful to have it added into the main program itself.

What? This is a windows feature, something you can do in windows.
Go to your sound icon on the taskbar, and right click. Press recording devices, then right click on your microphone and press properties. Go to the listen tab, check the listen to this device and leave it as is with the default listening device and press OK.

    Please research before posting.

This is a current issue for Mac users and a solution would be very appreciated. Please add a "monitor" selection to Mumble that can be used during normal operation to hear yourself through the headphones.

In preferences, mumble has a loopback test and when active you can hear yourself, however others can't hear you on local or server.

    Thank you.
