Often while podcasting, people will log into a mumble server just to listen to the live show. It would really relieve some bandwidth if those people could just listen to an icecast stream (which can even be mirrored). There are ways of hacking this together now, but they are cludges, and they require multiple client computers, and/or custom compiled versions of mumble which are Jack (a nightmare itself) aware.
Ideally (my ideal anyway), the Murmur server would have a per-room "start/stop network stream" button available to room administrators.
Thank you for all the great work you've done on Mumble and Murmur thus far. It is excellent software.
