I don't know if this error is more related to yukon (my screen capture programm for games) or mumble.
If I start a game (in this case ut2004) with
"mumble-overlay yukon ut2004" i get a segmentation fault in the terminal.
mcflow@errorkiste:~$ mumble-overlay yukon ut2004
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Every programm for it's own works fine but not together.
Is there a possibility to fix this little problem, or is it a general openGL problem so that this won't be possible to fix? :(
Information about my System:
AMD 64 X2 4200+
GeForce 8600GTS (driver NVIDIA 100.14.19)
2 GB RAM
Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 32Bit (Studio version)
Chaining multiple OpenGL injectors probably won't work. Chances are Mumble and Yukon are generating an infinite chain of overridden OpenGL calls. I'll have to look at how Yukon does it's injection before I can say if there's hope.
I asked in #yukon in IRC and the people told 2 answers. I don't know much about OpenGL, so I don't know if that is correct or helpfull for you....
1. by LD_LIBRARY_PATH
2. either dlsym @ mumble or @ glc is used depending on which one is loaded first.
Additionally they said that "hooking __libc_dlsym() should make glc work with mumble".
Whatever all those things may mean^^
