Mumble 1.2.3a crashes on quit and needs to be force-exited. Audio settings fail to be stored, necessitating going through audio setup on each launch. Note that Certificate and Server settings are properly saved.

Using MacBook AIR (2011 model), fully updated OSX 10.7.4. Haven't found a way around this crash so far. Happens every time.

FYI, build 1.2.3 dev build 366 does not exhibit this crash. And once I've successfully written out the audio prefs the first time, build 1.2.3a launches and exits normally. Looks like the crash may be related to writing the audio prefs.

I am experiencing the same issue. I am on OSX 10.7.5 and 1.2.3a. I have to force quit Mumble every time I use it and it will never save my preferences in the audio wizard. I have to set them up every time I open the program. I have deleted and uninstalled mumble and rebooted numerous times and it didn't make a difference. Any suggestions?

Sorry for not responding to this earlier -- it's been sitting for far too long.

I can't seem to reproduce the crash. Is it a proper crash, that is, do you get asked to report the crash on launch? If so, I'll scour the crash reports and try to figure out what's going on.

One possibility is to try the latest snapshot from http://mumble.info/ and see if that improves things. What's in there is going to be 1.2.4~beta1 pretty soon.

OK, I just re-read dsbensons post about snapshots working OK. That's good.

In general, snapshots are to be preferred on Lion and Mountain Lion, since the Qt version that the 1.2.3 version of Mumble is built against isn't too cooperative with those OS'es.

It isn't perfect, but that's how it is right now.
