First, thanks for the awesome program!

I have a mumble client open 24/7 and sometimes the audio the 24/7 client transmits will go bad (the audio it receives from other clients sounds fine). I\'ve included a .WAV of what it sounds like to other clients. Restarting mumble solves the problem, but you never know when it\'s going to crop back up, and if I\'m not around, it can be problematic.

Do you need more info from me, or were you already aware of this bug?

This is what it sounds like to other clients

Which OS? Does opening the settings dialog and clicking Ok fix the problem?

    Win XP SP3

I'll give that a shot next time it happens. Could be several days before it goes bad again.

    Thanks!

This problem has finally manifested again and I tried your suggestion, and yes, that worked.

Hello, I have upgraded to 1.2.3 and this problem still exists. In fact, it has happened twice in the last two days, and that makes me concerned that it is happening more often now.

Twice more in the last two days. Any ideas? P.S. I am a donator to the project.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try that and report back. Should I just run it anytime or when the program is misbehaving?

Any time. It dumps out info on the devices, drivers, libs and stuff that may be useful.

To clarify; your Mumble is not only open 24/7, it also transmits audio 24/7?

And it’s still an issue with 1.2.4(-RC)?

No, there is not always someone connected to hear what it is sending, but
yes, there is always a client connected sending audio.
