Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on why this may be happening. I have an application with Multivalent embedded in it, and it views most PDF files just fine. However, I have a single PDF file that when opened, causes the CPU usage to skyrocket and actions such as zooming in/out and even scrolling are extremely slow. The particular file is not very big or anything like that, and causes no problems when I open it in Acrobat Reader. The only thing I can think of is it "might" be a PDF conversion of a CAD file since when it loads, I see layers get created one at a time of the document...however, I cannot be sure because I do not know where this file originated from.
Does anyone have any tips or possible reasons why this may be happening? Thanks.
Can you email it to me? It's impossible to guess without an example.
