#143 Problems compressing PDFs produced by PowerPoint 2008

I've been using the Compress tool for years to process my PDF files. After upgrading to MS PowerPoint 2008 I have been having troubles with the files produced by Compress: many pictures after compression get "moved around" the page as in the following example:

- Original file, as produced by printing to PDF a MS PowerPoint 2008 slide on MacOS X 10.5.6: http://www.salgarelli.com/priv/test-orig.pdf

- Same file after processing by the Compress tool, with options "-web": http://www.salgarelli.com/priv/test-output.pdf

This happens with ALL PDFs created from PowerPoint 2008, and never happened with older versions of PowerPoint.

My system:

- Multivalent version 20060102
- Java 1.5.0_16
- MacOS X 10.5.6 (Intel)
- I've successfully used Multivalent for several years.

You can reproduce the bug by running the Compress tool with any options on the "test-orig.pdf" file you can download from the link above.

can reproduce this, but at least with the -compatible flag it works for me
