#11 0.81 tarball includes links to random files

The 0.81 source tarball includes a few symbolic links
that are pointing in basically random locations in the
filesystem. The "correct" way to make a release
tarball in automake/autoconf projects is to use "make
dist" which would dereference any symbolic links before
packaging.
