-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hi again! CVS is a great tool. However, it misses a few things like a central log file similar to a ChangeLog file and a decent tagging mechanism which bundle a single commit by a unique tag. To overcome these problems long ago I started `lcvs'. You can get it from http://www.merten-home.de/FreeSoftware/lcvs/index.html `lcvs' is a simple frontend to `cvs' enhancing some operations modifying the repository. This means on the other hand you don't need to use `lcvs' if you only want to read the repository. If you are a developer, however, you *need* to use `lcvs' to check in your changes to the project. I'm using `lcvs' for quite some time now and the standard operations work perfect. May be there are some quirks in rarely used functions. If so feel free to contact me immediately.
