Well then, here it is. Our first release, named "Yangtse". Still a little buggy at some edges, but core functionality including text chat, peer management, sound and status distribution are working and free to test.

Stay tuned for the next release, "Intrepid", including features like

-reliable file transfer
-designed text message output (Smilies, guys!)
-pluggable look-and-feel

So here it is, we are sourceforged!
Release 1.0 alpha is out, check it out from subversion repository! Feature list is long, but some bugs are still hangin 'round.
