The Java EbMS adapter implements the ebXML Message Service Specification 2.0. It is based on the Mule EbMS adapter. Using ebMS business information can be exchanged in a secure and reliable way. Messages can be digitally signed and sent encrypted. Additionally the succesful receipt of messages can be confirmed by returning an acknowledgment.
The adapter offers the following modules:
The ebms-core module contains the ebms-core functionality. It can be used directly in a java project or together with one of the offered adapters. The different adapters contain wrappers to use the ebms-core module in Mule2, Mule3 and a web application respectively.
Originally the Mule EbMS adapter is developed by Clockwork for the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. The adapter does implement the Digipoort EbMS specification, as defined by Logius for the Dutch government.
