How about having an export stored in dirs named after nicks, and logs divided by date? Kinda what mIRC is doing (however, I'd like to divide it by date, not session).
Example of how it'd look:
/Logs/ :
/Contact 1/
/Contact 2/
/Logs/Contact 1/ :
2006-09-09.txt
2006-09-08.txt
/Logs/Contact 1/ :
2006-09-09.txt
2006-09-02.txt
It'd be extremly useful when the history is very big - I have some of my contacts with the history .txt file over 1MB, and that's only because I've lost quite a lot of history due to harddrive issue!
