Ma sha Allah I have created a command prompt based sample which opens BOK file (using UCanAccess) and then reads table of contents. The Console window in Eclipse is showing ? instead of Aracib characters, therefore I am saving data in a file as well, which is showing corect Arabic alphabets.

Next goal is to create a JFrame based project which will take BOK file from a user specified location, and will same data in XML, HTML and HTMLBook formats preferably.

I have created a SSIS package which takes BOK file (which is basically an Access database), and loads it into a SQL Server database. All connections are manual so for every book I have to change input and output connections.

Secondly the data stored is not in Unicode but Windows Arabic encoding. The package changes the encoding also so the final tables in SQL Server have Unicode text. I have started using this text in Hujatul-lahi baligha text on my site (Karachvi.com ).... read more
