#3 german translation for ms-sys 2.5.0

Hello,
i created a german message file (de.po) for ms-sys version 2.5.0.
Unfortunately for my linux system (opensuse 13.2)
with LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 the GNU gettext message catalogue
needs to be Unicoded.
But i create also a variant de@latin.po with character set "ISO-8859-1".
Both message files are in appended archive ms-sys-2.5.0-po-de.zip

Thanks for your translation! Both files are now included in version 2.5.1 of ms-sys. But are both files really necessary? With both files I get german output with LANG set to de_DE or de_DE.utf8. I also get swedish output with LANG set to sv_SE or sv_SE.utf8. By adding .utf8 I get utf8 encoding instead of iso-8859-1 and this works with both german and swedish even though I only have the iso-8859-1 swedish po-file. It seems to me as if gnu gettext is able to translate between different encodings without the need of one po/mo file for every encoding.
