Make FreeDOS bootable
Brought to you by:

Hi,
I've trying to make a FreeDOS backup bootable with ms-sys (last version from your site, self-compiled).
The system (VirtualBox) has a HDD with one primary partition formated with FAT 32. The FreeDOS files are taken from a previous installation and just copied to the FAT 32 partition.
To make it bootable I've tried what is written under "Example 2" on http://ms-sys.sourceforge.net/ and many more possible variations of parameters, but without luck.
I'm not sure, if it is a bug in ms-sys or if I haven't found the right parameter jet.
Could you reproduce this? I could give you more information or prepare and upload a VM for you, if needed.
Thank you,
Hauke
Did you also try parameter -4 instead of -w on the partition?
regards Henrik
