By default it looks like mrViewer filters the displayed image with a Nearest Neighbor filter. There are little lines visible around areas of contrast, which is ugly.
Would it be possible to add a simple Bilinear or Linear filtering to the displayed image?
I've included a little screen recording to help demonstrate this.
mrViewer supports bilinear filtering when in Presentation Mode (F12). All other modes revert to nearest neighbor. The idea being that if you want your image to look the best, you should go to presentation mode, but while working, you want to see each pixel without blurs.
If you think this is not enough, I can add a toggle in the preferences.

Ah I see!
Yes I could definitely see the use for a toggle. Perhaps a setting in the preferences that allows you to choose which filtering to use in modes other than Presentation.
It could also be useful to have a menu entry in the view menu to toggle between nearest neighbor and bilinear filtering as well, just in case a user needs to toggle the behavior in Presentation or other modes.

v5.1.0 has this feature now. You can select it how it behaves from the Preferences->Video and you can toggle from the RMB->View->Texture Filtering menu.
