Hi. I'm editing the OWA2003 script to bit to access my e-mail at work. Somewhere between all those messages I get the following error. "org.mrbook.mrpostman.generic.GenericMailSession","GenericMailSession","outputLinesMessage","12:23:37","SEVERE","./outlook2003.script: Can't read message 63: Script './outlook2003.script', line 160: Parameter mismatch: get(string url [, Map<string:string> parameters [, Map<string:string> headers [, encoding]]])", I'm trying to fix this. I'm inclined to think it's a bug in my pop client, or the script that does not return the url right in the 1st time. Note, I've already downloaded more than 250 messages. So, I'd like to print stuff to the "Event logger". Is there a function I can use ? Thank you |

I haven't used MrPostman in a while, but I'm still lurking on this list to hear of any major development. Just an idea: perhaps Microsoft implemented some sort of user-agent checking? I haven't looked at the source but does MrPostman send a fake IE / Windows user agent like "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; *MSIE* 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)" on ever http string? or does it use the generic one provided by Java (which, if I remember correctly was a "Java" user agent). Sending a fake IE user agent would hopefully make detection / countermeasures by MSFT a bit more difficult.... (I hope!). Another option is that they implemented some sort of mandatory JavaScript (surely JScript) ajax-like piece of code that must be running all the time and sending/receiving data or keeping some sort of "internal clock" ? Sorry I'm shooting in the dark and thinking aloud... (a dangerous combination :). Well.. at least that fixed it for me about a week ago.. apparently the = login is (or actually was back then) handled / handed off different = (after giving your credentials obviously, since before this is not = known)... And, I didn't use the http://mail.live.com/ (where you can use the = sign-in assistant or what-it's-called (it came with one public WLM = beta), but used the http://www.hotmail.com/ entry all the time.. after = the change back things worked in outlook express again (through = MrPostman, that is). But for me it worked on 5 accts (both global US and local NL accts); = though reading your comment, something else has changed.. not yet here = anyway, but I smell problems coming this way.. hm.. have to wait and = see.. *no fun* Ok - at least the Windows/Outlook people (like me) would be able to use = the new free outlook connector, but stil.. I'd rather use plain pop3 = access from the client side than webdav/imap or whatever they're doing = now, and I have deliberately split up my accts between outlook and = outlook express... oh well.
