DawidB

Configuration window allows to:

  • detect current screen resolution
  • set masking borders boundaries
  • switch starting program in fullscreen mode
  • switch mouse clipping

1. Screen resolution configuration.

Screen resolution is detected automatically when the settings window is opened.
If user changes resolution while configuring program, resolution size can be refreshed with
"Detect screen resolution" button.

2. Masking borders boundaries configuration.

"Mr. Hyde" masks desktop working area by four black borders. Those borders boundaries can be
configured in two ways:
"Manual window mode" allows user to set precise coordinates of all four borders.
"Automatic window mode" sets boundaries of all four masking borders to fit selected by user
unmasked area. When user sets position and size of an unmasked window, masking borders boundaries
are automatically computed.
Any changes in masking borders boundaries can be seen in "Preview" panel.

3. Start program in fullscreen mode.

Checking "start program in fullscreen mode" allows to bypass default windowed mode and start
program with all four masking borders activated and on top.

4. Limit mouse cursor movement.

Checking "limit mouse cursor movement" only applies to fullscreen mode, when all four masking
borders are activated. This option makes sure, that mouse cursor is clipped to unmasked area
(which is helpful in windowed games).

IMPORTANT: To bypass mouse cursor clipping, hold "Control"+"Shift" keys.
