    I was trying to implement the email authentications (to send emails) through office 365 and tls.
    Before it was ssl which worked fine. Any Help on office365.

    Thanks,
    Anil Kumar

    That depends on the auth method you're using, if you can use "imap_php" it should be as simple as:

    $auth["type"] = "imap_php";
    $auth["imap_php"]["hostname"] = "outlook.office365.com";
    $auth["imap_php"]["port"] = 993;
    $auth["imap_php"]["ssl"] = TRUE;

    Argh, sorry, misread the request, you're not talking about auth, but email sending - I'll try again!

    $smtp_settings['host'] = 'smtp.office365.com';
    $smtp_settings['port'] = 587;
    $smtp_settings['auth'] = TRUE;
    $smtp_settings['username'] = 'whatever@example.com';
    $smtp_settings['password'] = 'supersecret';

    Note that you'd really be better off with a local relay, as you'll probably run into "send as" authentication problems with Office 365.

    I think I tell a lie though, it doesn't look like the PEAR "Mail" class that MRBS uses for SMTP sending supports TLS at all

    OK, I'm doing a really good job of talking to myself here, PEAR::Mail does support tls, it's just hidden down in Net_SMTP

    but what actually u are pointing to. Can you be a bit clear.
