When creating or changing a booking from Internal to External, it goes to Internal.
Apparently no rights to create External bookings?

Sounds strange. What version of MRBS are you using? Have you made any modifications to it? What database are you using - PostgreSQL or MySQL? Can you post your config file (having first removed any sensitive information such as passwords, usernames, email addresses, etc.)?

Just wonder were the settings can be changed other than in config.inc.
Are there also settings in areadeafaults or systemdefaults or report that could have an impact?

No, there are no settings that should affect this. Can you look in the entry table using phpMyAdmin and see if the correct type, ie 'E' is written to the database? I'm trying to work out whether MRBS is saving the correct type and not displaying it properly or just not saving it properly in the first place. I'm assuming also that you can change other booking details OK, eg the booking description?
